From firefighter to pastry chef, Andrew Schneider is renowned for his culinary skills and exceptional high standards. Founder and owner of Wauwatosa’s finest; La Reve, he began his culinary career at a young age, working alongside the most prestigious pastry chefs worldwide.

Originally from Greendale, he spread his wings to the culinary art expertise in France, New York City, and then locally with the world-renowned Chef Sanford d’ Amato. With a strong passion for pastry and meticulous pairing of ambiance and culinary art, Andrew opened La Reve in 2007 and has remained a stalwart in Wauwatosa. His team employs over 60 people year-round and has maintained key staff positions in an industry that normalizes turnover. La Reve continues to thrive 15 years since its inception with more growth on the horizon.

In 2022 Troquet has been introduced to the Tosa Village. It will serve as an education space as well as a private event space. Classes will be on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and be taught by some of the most famous pastry chefs in the US as well as local business and thought leaders in the culinary industry. With themes ranging from “summer nights in Paris”, “Chocolate dinners”, Italian Cooking with Stefano’s, and Southern Cooking, there is something for everyone!
